Perhaps the better questions is; 'How do you wish to contribute?'

When I look back on my journey, I feel like I asked myself this question all the time and I know it had a lot to do with my continued search for a fuffilling career. When I was a young adult and entering the workforce for the first time, I took my Diploma in Early Childhood and started my career as a Teacher. Something I loved, something I was really good at and also something I knew deep down was not my "forever career". As a matter of fact, as soon as it began I had itchy feet. And after a few years, somewhere between lots of overseas travel and adventure, I followed my creative desire and began a traineeship with a photography studio. Again thinking, this is going to fulfil my desire to be something "more". See, I was searching for something "bigger" than myself and at the time, I thought I'd find it in my job description. I felt that my desire for meaning and 'big-ness' would come from my success.

Can you relate?

I thought, "for sure I would feel greatness when I'm a successful photographer" and all of my dreams would come true. I would feel like I've achieved something, like I made a difference somehow and while the only thing that came close was some of the special moments I had teaching three-year olds, this feeling was still missing from my life.

That was until I found essential oils and more specifically doTERRA. You see, at it's core, doTERRA is a company that not only strives to create the most pure, potent and effective plant medicine on the market, but also to create relationships with the people and the communities that loving grow and harvest the plants we use for our oils. THIS . IS . BIG . Like, make the world a better place kinda big, the thing I've been searching for my whole life "big". Once I [finally] felt connected to that feeling I realised, it was all about contribution. My whole life, I desired to feel like I was contributing to something that was making a difference in the world.

And now, I can answer this question with some concrete answers. I am contributing to the world in many lovely and magical ways.

- I am raising another human to be good in the world. Her heart, will contribute so much [it already has in her short 11 months earthside].

- I am choosing to support families from all around the world, for the amazing work that they do. Every time I purchase a bottle of doTERRA essential oil, everytime I use just one drop in my home, on my family, I am choosing to shop with intregity. doTERRA source their oils from all over the world so that they can gaurentee the best quailty oils are being produced, and therefore we, get the opportunity to support people and families from all over the world. From, sustainably-sourced berries of the pink peppercorn tree that is native to the Andes Mountains in Northern Peru, to the small cinnamon tree farms on the southeast coast of Madagascar that have been in the same family for generations. If you'd like to learn more, take a look at doTERRAs Source to You website where you can watch videos and go a little deeper and learn a lot more about where all of our oils come from. Click this:

- I am choosing to be a support system for others so that I can educate and empower ladies to lower the toxic load in their homes.

- [Something that I am consciously working on because it makes me feel good and I used to be really good at it] Is developing a new connection to my spiritual practise. It looks a little like, chakra meditation, reiki and EFT. Possibly a little yoga thrown in their for good measure and good vibes. Honestly, raising your vibration and living your life in a high vibrational state doesn't just make you feel good, it's good for the people around you, good for the enviroment and good for the planet [and we all know the planet could use all our help right now!]

If you've had a burining desire to feel like your contributing and you're at the stage where you don't know what that might look like for you, perhaps these few points haven givin you a something to think about. And, if you'd like to reap the rewards of inviting some essential oils into your life and home, [and see what it feels like to know you are making an impact] then please reach out. It's so easy to start and so easy to get a few [or a lot] of oils iand begin to learn how to use them, with my friendly and simple guidance.

I would love to hear from you.
